As Chair, senior board member and advisor, Wendy Becker works with management teams and organisations globally, helping propel relationships between consumers and technology. She has vast experience in strategy, brand marketing, technology and design from her senior leadership roles, as well as diverse board and trustee leadership positions.
Wendy is Chairperson of Logitech International SA and a board director of Sony Corporation, Great Portland Estates and Oxford University Press. Whilst serving on these boards she provides advice and shares her expertise across a range of committees. She is a Trustee of The Design Museum and sits on the boards of The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College as well as Oxford University's Saïd Business School. Wendy is also a Council Member of The University of Oxford.
Wendy served as CEO at Jack Wills, a British-based brand name clothing manufacturer and retailer, promoted from COO after turning around the firm's historic operational difficulties and opening new growth avenues. Previously, she worked in the telecoms industry with Vodafone, sitting on the Global Executive Committee as Global CMO, and with TalkTalk as Managing Director. In 1993 Wendy joined McKinsey and Company, working out of both San Francisco and London, where she became Partner in 1998. At McKinsey she led the UK Consumer & Retail Practice and advised many global clients on embracing the digital world in their corporate strategies.
Wendy started her career in brand management at Procter & Gamble after gaining a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. She also holds an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Wendy has been named by the FT as a 'Top 50 Women to Watch in International Business’ and has been a finalist in the prestigious Sunday Times NED of the year awards.
