Tyler Sweatt’s Biography

Tyler Sweatt is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Second Front Systems (2F), a defense software company connecting emerging technologies with the national security community. He previously served as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer and Vice President of Growth.

Prior to joining 2F, Tyler was Head of National Security and Director of Special Projects at CalypsoAI, where he led initiatives to integrate advanced technologies in support of national security missions.

Earlier in his career, Tyler founded the technology consulting firm Future Tense, where he served as Managing Partner. He also held roles at Toffler Associates, ultimately serving as Director of the firm’s emerging technology and security practice, advising U.S. and international government and corporate leaders on the implications of rapidly evolving technology.

In addition to his executive role, Tyler supports the broader defense innovation ecosystem through advisory and nonprofit positions. He is a Partner at the nonprofit Silicon Valley Defense Group and a faculty member at school.house,... Tyler also supports philanthropic and mentorship initiatives focused on veterans and national security innovation. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, which provides educational assistance to the children of fallen and wounded servicemembers. He has also contributed to the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum community development team and volunteered with Atlas Corps and Veterati.
