Robert Suss’ Biography

With close to 30 years’ experience in business and wealth management, Robert Suss is the CEO of Pictet Wealth Management in the UK. In April 2024 Rob was appointed as an Equity Partner.

Pictet Wealth Management (PWM), part of the Pictet Group, has been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and charities protect and grow their wealth and ensuring its preservation for future generations.

Before joining PWM in September 2021, Robert held several leadership positions at Goldman Sachs; founded businesses in technology, finance, and renewable energy; and held directorship positions at TPG and B Riley Financial portfolio companies, resulting in a number of successful mergers.

Robert spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, culminating as Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth Management, London. His prior roles included Head of UK and Ireland Private Wealth Management and Head of Wealth Management Solutions.

Robert is the co-founder and non-executive director of UK Agricultural Finance, providing traditional, responsible underwriting to farming communities throughout the UK... As a passionate patron of the arts, Robert co-founded the Franks-Suss Collection, a growing art collection that has sought out and supported emerging talent from across the world for more than two decades. It includes near a thousand pieces across all media.

Robert supports several philanthropic organisations and serves as Chair of the Contemporary Art Society, Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery, Emeritus Trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts Trust (where he was previously Deputy Chair), and Trustee and Chair of the Royal Academy Schools Dinner and Auction.
