Tom Singh OBE is a visionary entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of New Look, a fashion retailer with over 390 stores worldwide.

New Look, a trailblazer in fast fashion, is one of the UK’s best-known fashion brands and was founded in 1969 with a single store in Taunton. Focusing on strategy and product, Tom served as a Non-Executive Director of the business until he stepped down in 2019 after a remarkable 50-year career at the helm.

Tom is a Founding Member of the Social Impact Investment Taskforce which aims to grow the social impact investment market. He is determined to improve the lives of marginalised groups in South Asia as a member and previous Chairman of the UK Advisory Council for the British Asian Trust.

Through their family office, Rianta Capital, the Singh Family are focused on the pursuit of a broad range of investment objectives encompassing retail, real estate, and private equity. Tom is a Trustee of The Artha Initiative, the philanthropic arm of the family office, which is dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities in India through encouraging enterprise...
