Dee Dee Sklar’s Biography

Dee Dee Sklar is a respected senior banking executive with decades of global experience, known in the alternatives industry as an innovator and one of the creators of subscription financing. Since 2004, she and her teams invested in funds, operated as lead arrangers, originating over $350 billion of financing to funds investing in private equity, credit and real assets. This success made Wells Fargo the top global provider of subscription financing.

Upon leaving Wells Fargo, Dee Dee shifted her focus to board memberships and advisory committees. Throughout her career, she built global relationships with alternative managers, top investors, law firms and banks. Her most recent posts were Vice Chair, Subscription Finance and Global Head, Subscription Finance at Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. She was also a member of the Asset-Backed Finance Management & Subscription Finance Management Committees.

She is the Founder & Global Co-Chair of Women in Fund Finance (2,500+ members), an association focused on increasing the recognition and promotion of women in the private equity and alternatives. In 2018 Dee Dee was the first recipient of the annual WFF award, now named in her honor. She is also a member of the Committee of 200, the Thirty Percent Coalition, Extraordinary Women on Boards, KPMG Women in Real Estate, the Fund Finance Association and FWA New York.
