Biography
Roger is Chairman of Persimmon Plc, Gamesys, Satellite Information Services (sports media) and Porthaven Nursing Homes. Previously Chairman of Marston's Plc, in 2012 Roger was also appointed the first Independent Non-Executive Director by the Football Association.

Prior appointments have included National Express and various private equity chairmanships - Venere (Advent, sold to Expedia), Traveljigsaw (Isis, sold to Priceline) and Principal Hotels (Permira, sold to Starwood).

Roger chairs the Business Committee of the R&A Golf and is a member of the Racehorse Owners Association.
