Malin’s Biography

Malin Spano is the founder of the aperitif Pomello, recently launched in June 2023. Pomello was envisioned from Malin’s extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry, having noticed a gap in the market for an upscale aperitif with the distinct flavour profile of elderflower and pomello.

‘Born in Sweden - Raised in LA’, Pomello was influenced by Malin and her husband Jonathan Spano’s desire to create a drink inspired by their travels and transatlantic lifestyle, with both dividing their time between California and London. Pomello features the fresh and natural flavours of pomello and elderflower, resulting in a refreshingly delicious and delicately sweet aperitif.

Born in Sweden, Malin moved to London at 19 to pursue a career in luxury PR and communications, spending a decade working with some of the most prestigious names in the travel, hospitality and drinks sectors.

From there, Malin continued her career as a consultant based in the South of France for five years.
