Liran Assness is an inspirational South African entrepreneur with interests in the industrial and mining sectors. He is the CEO of The Sekta Group, a specialised South African industrial services firm operating in the energy, petro-chemical, oil and gas, marine, mining, manufacturing and construction sectors.

In 2013, after having worked as a commodities trader for several years, Liran bought Redec Services, which he strategically scaled from a small business with 10 employees to a thriving company employing a workforce of 500 people. Redec mainly provides industrial and commercial maintenance services.

Utilising his experience in building and scaling specialised businesses, Liran co-founded Tabono Investments, an investment firm focused on growing and supporting profitable businesses in highly focused sectors such as specialised engineering, construction, industrial services and logistics.
