Ken Young is Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CVC, a leading alternative investment manager specialising in private equity, credit, and secondaries.
During the fifteen years Ken has been at CVC, he has held various leadership positions across the organisation. In addition to his role as Chief Operating Officer, he is Chair of the CVC Credit platform, and supports business development and raising capital globally.
Prior to CVC, Ken was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan and a member of the leveraged finance team, before which he was at CIBC for six years.
Ken began his career in law, training with Dickson Minto before joining Allen & Overy as an Associate Banking Lawyer specialising in European leveraged finance.
Ken graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B), and a Diploma in Legal Practice.
