Gregory Young, founding principal of Greyfield Advisers, is an experienced, skilled family office executive, fiduciary and professional, and a proven leader and manager in fiduciary services, the family office sector and the legal profession.
Having advised, assisted and represented a number of America’s wealthiest individuals, families and family offices over the last thirty years, Greg has well-established credentials and expertise. Based in Palm Beach, Florida, Greyfield is particularly focused on serving the varied and substantial needs of ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices.
Prior to Greyfield, Greg was CEO of a fully integrated family office supporting multiple generations of a single family, and a fiduciary for trusts benefiting them. Greg managed the development and implementation of strategic and operational advice and planning for wide-ranging areas of need, including business planning, estate planning, financial planning & investment management, asset protection, insurance & risk management, legal, philanthropy, real estate, taxation and trust administration. C-suite executives reported to Greg, who supervised all work performed within the company and by outside professionals. As fiduciary, Greg was responsible for performance and administration of trusts, including management and investment of trust assets.
Previously a partner with two prominent law firms, Greg's primary practice focused on real estate. Chief components of Greg’s practice were the representation of ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices as well as sovereign wealth funds, private funds and other institutional real estate investors. Greg also developed high proficiency on matters pertaining to public policy, entity governance, business transactions, private equity, and taxation and related planning. And, he spent significant time in firm leadership and on enterprise management.
Greg holds a JD and a BS/BA in Finance and European History.
