John joined PJT Partners in January 2015 after building an impressive resume in the Media & Telecommunications industry. He spent over 11 years at Credit Suisse, serving most recently as Vice Chairman of Global M&A and the Global Head of Media & Telecommunications M&A. He also served as Co-Head of Credit Suisse’s Media & Telecommunications Group from 2005 to 2009. Prior to his tenure at Credit Suisse, John spent over 14 years at Merrill Lynch, most recently as Head of the Media Group.

After solidifying his focus on the Media & Telecommunications sector in 1998, John has worked on a broad range of public and private M&A transactions, including cross border mergers in North America, Europe and Asia. His breadth of knowledge has enabled him to serve as an advisor on M&A transactions totalling nearly $500 billion, including nearly 50 transactions in excess of $1...
