Ian Rosenblatt OBE is a distinguished lawyer and leading philanthropist in the field of music. He is Founder and Senior Partner of City law firm, Rosenblatt Solicitors, part of RBG Holdings plc, where he specialises in Dispute Resolution and Corporate work.
Ian has extensive experience in critical court applications, injunctions and ancillary remedies and has worked on a spectrum of commercial matters including shareholder disputes, defamation, breach of trust and duty as well as securities litigation and litigation strategies in corporate takeovers. His clients include executives, listed companies as well as corporate organisations and some of the UK's better known businesspeople and their organisations.
Before establishing Rosenblatt Solicitors, Ian served as Partner at media and entertainment law firm, Sheridans having qualified through Collyer Bristow.
In the year 2000, Ian founded and sponsored Rosenblatt Recitals, the UK's only world class series of classical vocal recitals. Over the next 18 years, he put on over 200 recitals for international stars such as Juan Diego Florez, Stephen Costello, Angel Blue, Ailyn Perez, and Francesco Meli. His vision was to create a platform for both established and new artists to showcase their talent and for London audiences to have the opportunity to enjoy this art form more frequently.
Ian's philanthropic efforts extend to his appointment as Trustee of the Gerald & Gail Ronson Family Foundation and he is a former trustee of Community Security Trust. He is a passionate supporter of the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity, Target Ovarian Cancer.
His continuous involvement in arts and culture is evident in his engagement as Trustee of the National Museums Liverpool. In 2016 Ian was awarded an OBE in Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List for philanthropic services to music.
Ian is a member of The Law Society and graduated from London School of Economics & Political Science with LLB (Hons) Law.
