Ian’s Biography

Ian Rosenblatt OBE is a distinguished lawyer and leading philanthropist. He is Founder and Senior Partner of Rosenblatt Law, specialising in litigation, complex disputes, commercially driven legal advice, international arbitration and high end M&A. He founded Rosenblatt in 1989.

Ian specialises in litigation and corporate law with extensive experience in critical court applications, injunctions and ancillary remedies, across matters including shareholder disputes, defamation, breach of trust and duty, securities litigation and litigation strategies in corporate takeovers. His clients include executives, listed companies and some of the UK's best-known businesspeople. Ian is also a business adviser to leading entrepreneurs.

He hosts the 'Winning' podcast, now in its third season, speaking with high-performing individuals from business, sport, politics and the arts about the mindset and experiences behind success. Ian is a trustee of Index on Censorship, a respected organisation dedicated to defending freedom of expression, chaired by Sir Trevor Phillips.

In 2000 Ian founded and sponsored Rosenblatt Recitals, the UK's only world-class series of classical vocal recitals. Over 18 years he staged over 200 recitals for stars such as Juan Diego Florez, Stephen Costello, Angel Blue, Ailyn Perez, Ailish Tynan and Lise Davidsen. His vision was to create a platform for established and new artists and for London audiences to enjoy this art form more often.

His ongoing commitment to arts and culture is evident in his role as chair of the Royal Albert Hall for its £50m capital appeal. He previously served as trustee of National Museums Liverpool for nine years, appointed by the Department for Digital, Media, Culture & Sport (DCMS).

Ian was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2016 for philanthropic services to music. He is a member of The Law Society and graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science with an LLB (Hons) in Law. READ MORE VIEW LESS
