Adrian Moors is the founder of ACM Consulting, a boutique, Mauritius-based strategic advisory firm that assists clients to gain entry into, and enhances their competitiveness in, emerging markets. ACM Consulting has more than two decades of cross-border operational and management experience across multiple markets, including Africa, Asia and Europe, and delivers winning localised solutions to global clients.
In addition to his knowledge of emerging markets, Adrian offers expertise and insight into the challenges and opportunities facing multinational family businesses. He has a deep, personal appreciation of the complexities of operating in family businesses – from being an employee, partner, family owner-manager and director. Adrian’s experiences have provided him with a unique insight and perspective of family-owned businesses and those seeking to collaborate with them.
Adrian is a director of Gutsche Family Investments, an international family business holding company with interests in a number of businesses. These include Coca-Cola Beverages Africa which has over 16,000 employees operating in 12 countries across Africa, and Woodlands Dairy one of the largest dairy companies in Africa with over 1,500 employees processing approximately 1 million litres of milk per day. He is also involved with start-ups in the food and IT sectors.
He graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with Bachelor of Commerce (Law) and Honours in Economics degrees. He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and achieved his director certification through the International Directors Programme (IDP) at the same business school. Adrian is also an INSEAD IDP ambassador, a role which helps him fulfil his passion of driving governance and developing future directors in emerging markets.
In September 2020 Adrian was made a Director of 96 Capital, a Venture Capital & Private Equity firm based in Cape Town.
