Charley Moore is the Founder & President of The Moore Group, LLC, a corporate consultancy and investment firm founded in 2001 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The firm’s primary business focuses include sports and entertainment, new media, private equity, real estate and outdoor lifestyle companies.

The Moore Group’s initial clients included David Duval, ESPN Outdoors and Falconhead Capital, an IMG-related private equity firm in the sports and lifestyle spaces. Moore’s other early golf-related ventures include creating official marketing partnerships for the PGA TOUR with The Golf Warehouse (TGW/pgatour.com) and Bombardiers Flexjet (fractional private aircraft). He is also an investor, CEO and Co-founder of PureGolf Radio, which led the sport of golf’s entry into satellite radio. The PGA TOUR Network is considered one of the most commercially successful sports channels in the history of satellite radio.

He also oversaw IMG’s golf corporate consulting business and its foray into the digital universe through TWIinteractive.

The Moore Group has evolved from its start but remains focused on verticals around private equity investing, sports league consulting, real estate investing and advisory, new media start up consulting, outdoor lifestyle and Philanthropy. Current clients include PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, RocaPoint Partners, HighPost Capital and Toldright, LLC.

Charley holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School. He resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with his wife and children, and also spends time at the Complete Fly Fisher on the Big Hole River in Montana. moreless
