Simon Pavitt is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capstones Co, a specialist advisory firm that helps successful individuals conceive and deliver their “Capstones”: passion projects and significant initiatives that define the next phase of their career or legacy.

Alongside Capstones Co, Simon serves as Chief Advisor to London Technology Club (LTC), an investment network of technology entrepreneurs, venture capital firms and family offices. In this role, he works closely with investors and founders, and contributes to the Club’s international events and content. An accomplished interviewer, moderator and host, Simon has led over 200 events for LTC and interviewed high-profile figures such as former Prime Ministers, billionaires, entrepreneurs, athletes and industry leaders.

As a writer and commentator on technology and investment trends, Simon has published a series of reports for LTC examining the impact of technology across sectors such as Formula One, fine wine, art and finance. Alongside Capstones Co, Simon serves as Chief Advisor to London Technology Club (LTC), an investment network of technology entrepreneurs, venture capital firms and family offices. In this role, he works closely with investors and founders, and contributes to the Club’s international events and content. An accomplished interviewer, moderator and host, Simon has led over 200 events for LTC and interviewed high-profile figures such as former Prime Ministers, billionaires, entrepreneurs, athletes and industry leaders.

His first book, "Capstones: The Art & Architecture of Meaningful Passion Projects", was published by Harriman House (part of Pan Macmillan) in 2025.

Simon is an active investor in growth-stage technology businesses and participates in LTC’s Pledge Fund II. He also advises high-performance companies such as Silverstone Paint Technology and its spin-out, Seamless Digital.

His career spans more than two decades in commercial strategy, technology and marketing, with a focus on sport. He has held senior roles in Formula One, with SAP at McLaren Mercedes and as Commercial Director of Manor Racing F1 team. He was also part of the leadership team that established Fuse Sport + Entertainment within Omnicom Media Group, negotiating global partnerships valued at over $2 billion.

Simon is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He has lectured at London Business School and holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
