Rob Lucas’ Biography

Rob Lucas is a Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer at CVC, a leading global alternative investment manager focused on private equity, secondaries and credit. He is the lead Managing Partner of CVC's Investment Committee for Europe/Americas, and Strategic Opportunities strategies.

Majority owned by its employees, CVC’s excellence is driven by expert teams with deep knowledge of the specialised corporate settings in which they operate. Major investments have included Formula 1, Quironsalud, BJ Wholesale Club and Breitling, as well as Zabka and EcoVadis.

During his CVC career, Rob has been key to deals such as Ontic, Ethniki, Neptune, Skybet, and a strategic partnership with the Six Nations tournaments.

Rob led CVC’s response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the firm, employees and portfolio companies committing over €100 million to projects tackling the consequences of the pandemic, funding more than 200 community initiatives.
