Biography
Peter Rutland is President and a Managing Partner at CVC, a leading global private markets manager. He joined the firm in 2007 and leads CVC’s private equity activities in the financial services sector.
Peter has extensive experience investing in financial services and related industries and has led or supported a number of significant investments, including Hargreaves Lansdown, TMF Group, Domestic & General, April Group and Pension Insurance Corporation.
Before joining CVC in 2007, he worked at private equity firm Advent International and began his career in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division.
Peter holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School and an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Cambridge. He was named on the World Economic Forum’s list of “Young Global Leaders Class of 2016”, honouring civic-minded, tech-savvy innovators around the world.
