He began his career in policing in Australia, serving for 12 years before moving into government and private-sector investigations. In 2016, he entered the private sector and later held senior roles with I-OnAsia in the UK, Europe and Australia. He also serves voluntarily as Managing Director of The Public Safety Foundation and is a regular media commentator on policing and critical incidents.
