Nick Mavro serves as Head of US Institutional at Pictet Asset Management (USA) Corp., a division of the Pictet Group. He has over 25 years’ business experience and is regarded as a collaborative and dynamic team member, with a proven track record in developing successful business strategies and cultivating long-lasting relationships.

Nick’s path to becoming and executive in finance was not a traditional one. After earning a degree in Civil Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, he joined leading engineering firm Stone & Webster. During his tenure, he quickly rose to become a Senior Engineer leading teams on multiple global construction projects and environmental cleanups.

The impetus for Nick’s career transition came while studying for an MBA at Babson College, a school consistently ranking #1 in entrepreneurship. The leap from engineering to asset management, although unconventional, was aided by his entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset, strategic vision and the ability to lead high performing teams that deliver results.

After graduating from Babson, Nick held multiple senior roles at two leading firms, State Street Global Advisors and Fiera Capital. At Fiera, he was the second member of their US team and led the successful launch and expansion of its US institutional business. more less
