Nabeel Bhanji’s
Biography
Nabeel Bhanji is Head of Strategic Equity Investments at Citadel and a member of the company’s Portfolio Committee.
Before joining Citadel, Nabeel spent over a decade at Elliott Investment Management where he was an Equity Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager and served on the firm’s Global Investment Committee. During his time at Elliott, he led public equity and event-driven investment strategies spanning multiple geographies and sectors.
Earlier in his career, Nabeel worked in U.K. Mergers & Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs, before moving into private equity at Apax Partners.
Beyond his investment roles, Nabeel is a member of the Aga Khan Development Network’s Endowment Committee and has served as a Governor of Westminster School in London since 2022. He was previously a board director of Toshiba Corporation until the company was taken private in 2023.
Mr. Bhanji was educated at Westminster School before studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) at Balliol College, University of Oxford. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
