Mike Covell is an experienced non-executive Chairman and Director.
He currently serves as Chairman of Acolin, a Swiss-based cross-border fund distribution company; Ascot Lloyd, a UK financial planning group; Sackville Capital, a global multi-asset investment advisory firm and European real estate investment and development business, Le Masurier. He is also a Director of Butterfield, a commercial bank based in Bermuda and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Prior to his current roles, Mike served as Chairman of the Tilney Group, a UK wealth manager and Hawksford International, an offshore fiduciary business. He was also a Director of the Leeds Castle Foundation and the International Property Securities Exchange.
In 2008 he retired from Goldman Sachs, where he was Managing Director in the European Private Wealth Management Division. Prior to his role at Goldman Sachs, Mike was a Senior Partner at international accountancy firm, Rawlinson & Hunter.
A keen sportsman, Mike has a particular interest in field sports and triathlons.
He lives in Dorset with his wife and their two daughters.
