Jon Venverloh’s Biography

Jon Venverloh is Founder and Principal at Venus Development Co.

Previously, he held several top positions at Google. Having joined the company in its infancy, Jon was instrumental to the startup’s growth into a global tech giant. A key player in both business and product development, he secured strategic partnerships that were milestones in Google's growth. During his 18 years with the company, he launched multiple products, including Chrome, Enterprise, and Google Shopping. He also successfully integrated a company of more than 100 people in Google Shopping’s largest acquisition, expanding service from the US to Europe.

In 2016, Jon took on the role of Director of Program Management, first at Google’s European engineering headquarters in Switzerland, then in the US. Responsible for product development and operations at Google Shopping, Jon redesigned systems and processes leading to better merchant participation and shopper experience. While in Zurich, Jon also led the design and implementation of a diversity and inclusion plan across all 3,000+ "Zooglers".

Earlier in his career, Jon held various senior positions at Google Shopping, including Director of Global Sales, Global Head of Sales & BD, and Head of Business Development. Before his successful stint at Google, Jon gained vital experience in sales at The Weather Channel and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Outside of his corporate work, Jon is committed to having a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities. With this in mind, he founded the Venverloh Family Foundation. The charity seeks to help those in need, encouraging and supporting organizations with a mission to better society.

Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. more less
