Jon Pruzan’s Biography

Jon Pruzan is an American business executive with extensive experience in financial services, corporate finance, and strategic leadership. He currently serves as Co-President of Pretium, a specialized investment firm focused on residential real estate equity and debt, as well as residential credit. In this role, he is a member of Pretium’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, helping guide the firm’s strategic direction, operational development, and long-term growth across its investment platforms.

Prior to joining Pretium, Jon spent nearly 30 years at Morgan Stanley (1994-2023), most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President (2021-23). He was a member of the Firm's Operating, Management, and Risk Committees and the Morgan Stanley/MUFG Global Steering Committee. Prior to becoming CFO, Jon spent 21 years in the Global Financial Institutions Group in Investment Banking, leading the group from 2010 to 2015.

Outside his executive roles, he serves on the boards of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and the American Ditchley Foundation, is a Life Trustee of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and previously chaired the board of Summer Search NY. His nonprofit and policy work demonstrates a longstanding commitment to economic research, education, and public-interest institutions.
