With over 30 years of industry experience, Igor Tulchinsky is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of WorldQuant, a leading global quantitative asset management firm.

Recognizing that the exponential growth of data and advancement of technology would eventually change the way we learn, work and invest, Igor established WorldQuant with the belief that there are an infinite number of insights to discover - and that talent is global, while opportunity is not. The company has over 1,000 employees among 27 global offices.

Igor believes everyone, regardless of economic background or location, deserves access to quality education. With this in mind, he founded WorldQuant University, which is dedicated to making advanced education accessible globally by delivering entirely free online offerings, including its accredited MSc in Financial Engineering program and an Applied Data Science Lab. He supports innovative research initiatives in the medical field at Weill Cornell Medicine, having launched the WorldQuant Initiative for Quantitative Prediction, which utilizes data-enabled solutions to accelerate... Igor founded WorldQuant Predictive, which uses quantitative approaches to generate predictive solutions across commercial sectors and humanitarian challenges, as well as WorldQuant Ventures, an angel investment firm centered on disruptive technology companies.

His career has spanned many disciplines - from venture capitalist and philanthropist to video game programmer and author. He spent over a decade at Millennium Management as a statistical arbitrage portfolio manager and worked as a scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Igor has authored numerous publications including Finding Alphas: A Quantitative Approach to Building Trading Strategies, The UnRules: Man, Machines and the Quest to Master Markets, and The Age of Prediction: Algorithms, AI, and the Shifting Shadows of Risk.
