Harvey Bell’s Biography

Harvey Bell, MBA, is a Managing Director, Financial Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. A veteran of the financial services industry, he has advised clients on investment and wealth planning matters for more than four decades. He is the founder and leader of The Bell Team, which moved with him to Morgan Stanley in 2015, following more than 30 years at Merrill Lynch.

Based in Short Hills, New Jersey, Harvey advises high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate executives, business owners, and nonprofit organizations on investment management, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, philanthropy, and intergenerational wealth planning.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Harvey held senior leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, including Senior Resident Director overseeing offices across New Jersey. He also served as a Senior Portfolio Manager within the firm’s Global Wealth Management Group and contributed to advisor leadership and training initiatives.

He is a member of the United States Chaplain Corps and has supported organizations including the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and The Lawfare Project. He also served on the Board of Trustees of The Friars Club, the historic private club long associated with New York’s entertainment and cultural community before its closure in 2024.
