Håkan has three decades of experience in the financial services industry, developing expertise in many areas and earning a strong global reputation. Prior to KingsRock, he was Global Head of Debt Origination, Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions at Deutsche Bank, where he led the world’s largest global debt underwriting operation. Earlier, he was the firm’s Head of European Capital Markets Origination, a group focused on capital raising and risk management for corporations, financials and governments.
His experience has made him a sought-after advisor in the financial industry. He is a Senior Advisor to Archegos Capital Management, LP, a family investment office in New York and a liaison officer for its supported Grace & Mercy Foundation, whose mission is to support the poor and oppressed and help people learn and grow. Håkan is a strategic advisor in the global asset management sector, and is a Senior Advisor at InCred Capital, a financial services company based in Mumbai.
Previously, he was a Board member and Vice Chair of ICMA (International Capital Markets Association), a nonprofit membership association for firms in global capital markets, and a Trustee of the Kent School, a New England boarding school affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Håkan has a M.Sc in Business Administration from Stockholm University and undertook graduate economic studies at Harvard University. He has the FINRA SIE, Series 82, Series 79 and Series 63 qualifications.
He and his wife reside in New York City and have homes in Japan and Sweden.
