N. Håkan Wohlin is the Founder & Managing Partner of KingsRock Advisors, a financial services advisory firm focused on capital and financial solutions, structural complexity and the origination of unique investment opportunities. With a unique flexibility and global network of affiliated advisors, KingsRock is able to operate across a range of asset classes, capital structures and industries to deliver long-term value creation for its clients.
Håkan has three decades of experience in financial services, developing expertise in many areas and earning a strong global reputation. Prior to KingsRock, he was Global Head of Debt Origination, Capital Markets & Treasury Solutions at Deutsche Bank, where he led the world’s largest global debt underwriting operation. Earlier, he was the firm’s Head of European Capital Markets Origination, a group focused on capital raising and risk management for corporations, financials and governments.
As part of serving clients of KingsRock Advisors, Håkan engages in a range of advisory roles. Via one such assignment, he works closely with the Grace & Mercy Foundation, whose mission is to support the poor and oppressed and help people learn and grow. Håkan is also a strategic advisor in the global asset management sector.
Previously, he was a Board member and Vice Chair of ICMA (International Capital Markets Association), a nonprofit membership association for firms in global capital markets, and a Trustee of the Kent School, a New England boarding school affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Håkan has a M.Sc in Business Administration from Stockholm University and undertook graduate economic studies at Harvard University. He has the FINRA SIE, Series 82, Series 79 and Series 63 qualifications.
He and his wife reside in New York City and have homes in Japan and Sweden.
