Gordon Singer is a Partner at Elliott Management Corporation and Head of Elliott’s London office, Elliott Advisors (UK) Limited.
As Head of the Corporation's London office, Gordon manages all of Elliott’s European equity, corporate and sovereign credit positions. He also oversees interest rate and currency trading positions originating from the London office. Gordon has been a member of Elliott Management Corporation’s Management Committee since 2007 and is also a member of Elliott’s Risk, Valuation & Compliance, and Operational Risk Committees.
Prior to joining Elliott in 1998, Gordon worked in the Investment Banking Analyst Programme at Lehman Brothers.
Gordon graduated from Williams College, Massachusetts and spent his junior year abroad studying at Exeter College, part of Oxford University. Prior to Williams College, he attended public (State) high school in Tenafly, New Jersey.
Gordon Singer is the Founder of 'Restore the Music UK', a charity with a mission to re-instate access to music for every schoolchild in the UK. Gordon’s passion for music education originates from the teaching he experienced at the state schools where he was educated in suburban New Jersey. Gordon plays the acoustic and electric guitars as his primary instruments, and is also proficient at electric bass guitar and double bass. He also plays a variety of drum instruments including drum set and electronic drums.
