Gordon Singer is a Partner at Elliott Management Corporation and Head of Elliott Management Corporation’s London office, Elliott Advisors (UK) Limited.
As the Head of the London office, Gordon Singer manages all of Elliott’s European equity, corporate and sovereign credit positions. Gordon also oversees interest rate and currency trading positions originating from the London office. Gordon Singer has been a member of Elliott Management Corporation’s Management Committee since 2007. Additionally, Gordon is a member of Elliott’s Risk, Valuation, and Compliance and Operational Risk Committees.
Prior to joining Elliott in 1998, Gordon Singer worked in the Investment Banking Analyst Programme at Lehman Brothers.
Gordon Singer graduated from Williams College and spent his junior year abroad at Exeter College at Oxford University. Prior to Williams, Gordon Singer attended public (i.e. state) high school in Tenafly New Jersey.
Gordon Singer is the Founder of RESTORE THE MUSIC UK, a UK registered charity that seeks to reinstate access to music for every child in primary and secondary schools across the UK. Gordon’s passion for music education emanates from the music provision he experienced at the state schools in suburban New Jersey where he was educated. Gordon Singer plays the acoustic and electric guitars as his primary instruments, and is also proficient at electric bass guitar and double bass. He additionally plays a variety of drum instruments including drum set, and electronic drums.
