Founded in 2022, Avala Global invests in public and private companies at the forefront of technological innovation and structural change. As Chief Investment Officer, Divya is responsible for the firm's investment strategy, drawing on fundamental analysis, independent research and direct engagement with management teams to identify exceptional companies at pivotal moments in their development.
Before founding Avala Global, Divya spent seven years at Viking Global Investors, where she was a Portfolio Manager and a member of the firm's Investment Steering Committee. Earlier in her career, she was an Investment Analyst at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners.
Divya was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Finance category in 2016 and was recognised as a Forbes All-Star Alumna in 2025. She has also spoken at leading investment conferences, including the Sohn Investment Conference, Bloomberg Invest and the J.P. Morgan | Robin Hood Investors Conference.
