Mike Mascia sits down with Dee Dee Sklar, who shares some updates on the various projects and Board initiatives she has been involved in since announcing her retirement. Dee Dee also discusses the important work done by FFA’s Women in Fund Finance group.

Senior Advisors Dee Dee Sklar and Beverly Berman have joined 17Capital’s Supervisory Board to assist with advising on firm-level decisions such as new strategy launches or key hires. 17Capital has one of the few majority female boards in the private capital industry.

Dee Dee Sklar was interviewed in the March 2021 issue of Women Leadership USA as one of 104 pominent business leaders who represent the Women Business Collaborative. Dee Dee holds board and advisory roles at Tealbook, Kernel Group Holdings, Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, and 17Capital. She is a former MD & Vice Chair of Subscription Finance - Asset Backed Finance for Wells Fargo Securities. 

On May 27th, over 100 members of Women In Fund Finance including banks, law firms, private equity and alternative managers, investors located in the US, Europe, and Asia gathered together to share views on global fund raising, financing, private equity investing.
