The massive Downtown development — which is still set to include two office buildings and hundreds of hotel rooms and apartments — is now going by "The Walk on Union." Kevin Adams, Third Lake Capital, and SageStone Partners are developing the project, and LRK is designing it.
The team behind the $950 million Union Row project in Downtown Memphis is coming together again to build a senior living community near the University of Memphis. The $89 million residential project is led by David Dlugolenski, an Atlanta-based partner on Union Row. Listed as a co-developer is Kevin Adams, the main developer of Union Row. Ken Jones, also connected with Union Row, is listed as a financial partner.
Kevin Adams, the former CEO of CB Richard Ellis’s Memphis office, has been involved in plenty of big projects in his 34 years in commercial real estate in Memphis, but nothing quite this grandiose. The same goes for his partner, David Dlugolenski. “We’re really trying to create a district within the downtown area,’’ said Dlugolenski, 43, of Atlanta, who specializes in raising private equity and has built several luxury senior living projects in the Southeast.
