Artur Tomala’s Biography

Artur Tomala brings over two decades of leadership in European investment banking, distinguished by his strategic acumen, integrity, relationship-building, and a proven track record of complex deal execution.

Most recently, Artur served as Managing Partner at Wejchert Trinity Partners, the family office of the prominent Wejchert family, with operations across Monaco, Switzerland, and Poland. In this capacity, he oversaw cross-border investments, private equity initiatives, and strategic advisory matters across a diverse portfolio.

Prior to this, Artur spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs International, where he rose to the position of Managing Director. During his tenure, he held leadership roles across Structured Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions and was instrumental in spearheading Goldman Sachs’ expansion into Central and Eastern Europe. Under his leadership, the firm became the preeminent investment bank in the region, a position acknowledged by both Euromoney and IFR.

Artur has led close to 100 capital markets and M&A transactions, raising multiple billions of euros through IPOs, accelerated bookbuilds (ABBs), and strategic advisory mandates. His engagements have spanned governments, entrepreneurs, and leading corporates, utilising his ability to anticipate market windows, manage execution complexity, and mitigate internal inertia.

He maintains an extensive and influential network across Central and Eastern Europe and is often regarded as a key conduit for capital and intellectual exchange between the region and global financial centres.

Earlier, Artur held roles at Lehman Brothers, where he focused on hybrid capital structuring for major European banks, and at ABN AMRO, gaining broad experience in global markets.
