Aldo Garbagnati’s Biography

Aldo Garbagnati is Founder and Chairman of the Emicapital group. Based in Dubai and London, Emicapital is a boutique consultancy serving corporations, HNWIs and their families interested in the Gulf region. Services include customised advice on assets structuring, relocation, succession, finance, banking and investments.

An Italian national of noble origin, Aldo has founded, developed and managed several companies in the industrial, financial and advisory sectors since 1990. As a private advisor, Aldo has served prominent European families for over 25 years for their wealth protection, family office structuring and business development.

In 2015, Aldo joined Global Partnership Family Offices, a family business association in London, as manager of the Middle East office.

A consultant to multiple Ministries in the UAE, Aldo is also an advisor to the ruling families of the UAE, whilst he cooperated with local institutions for FDI projects.

Recently Aldo and his team launched Emicapital ONE, a real estate investment fund focusing on Dubai and the Gulf area. The fund delivers a... Aldo’s philanthropic activity developed through the Polyseum Foundation, a UK registered Charity supporting Fine Arts education. In his capacity as founder and chairman, Aldo is a patron of the BAFTA President's Circle, chaired by HRH Prince William, and supports other charities such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Academy of Arts.

Polyseum was the only British charity allowed to present a performance of one of its artists at COP28 in Dubai in 2023. Polyseum is going to become a larger non-profit project, developing more educational programs, in cooperation with the private sector and Governments. READ MORE VIEW LESS

The Private Office was established by His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum to identify potential business and investment opportunities in the region and to assist businesses in securing strategic and investment partners.

TPO in Switzerland focused on promoting these activities in Europe and managing relationships with large and medium-sized European enterprises.
