Ziad’s Biography

Ziad Sakr Fakhri is an experienced real estate investor and developer with a focus on investments in residential and commercial properties in Beirut and globally. For close to three decades, Ziad has invested in landmark properties in Lebanon, such as the Shell building, Shams building, the Beirut Marriott Hotel and Cote d’Azur resort, among others.

Ziad currently serves as Chairman & General Manager of Beirut-based companies, Safeco Holding SAL and Amaret al Rawche SAL. His first foray into real estate development and management came at a young age when, after completing his studies at American University in Washington, D.C., he built a home a few blocks from the White House. Upon leaving the U.S., Ziad returned home to Lebanon and completed his first purchase of a plot of land for a mixed-use property.

These initial real estate investments showed him the potential of finding promising properties with strong growth potential. Since then, he has worked as an investor and property manager, in addition to leading negotiations, overseeing high-level transactions and executing complex... Lebanese real estate developer, Ziad Fakhri, has said that he has been awarded more than $8 million in a case against hotel giant Marriott. The hotel group had paid executives to testify against Fakhri in previous cases in which he accused them of mismanagement of the Beirut hotel.
