Seiji Nishimura serves as the Head of US Intermediaries at Pictet Asset Management, part of the Pictet Group, a prestigious independent investment partnership founded in Europe in 1805 that oversees approximately $900bn in client assets*. In this pivotal role, he leads the team responsible for the Intermediary Distribution business across the United States, cultivating strategic relationships with key players including Wirehouses, Private Banks, Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs), Outsourced Chief Investment Officers (OCIOs), and Insurance Companies.
Prior to his move to the US in 2021, where he was a founding member of Pictet’s inaugural New York office, Seiji was a member of the US business development team at Pictet Asset Management’s London office. He has over 16 years of experience with the firm, all in distribution of Pictet’s investment solutions to some of the world’s largest financial institutions, having joined in June 2009.
Seiji holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
