Robert Klein’s Biography

Robert Klein is a Partner and President of RedBird Capital Partners. Since joining in 2017, he has helped grow the firm’s assets under management from $1 billion to more than $21 billion by expanding its product offerings and institutionalising its operating infrastructure. He chairs RedBird’s Operating Committee, serves on its Investment Committees, and oversees capital formation, product development, legal and compliance, and finance. He works closely with strategic partners, including leading entrepreneurs, holders of iconic intellectual property and a global group of limited partners.

Robert serves on the boards of RedBird portfolio companies AC Milan, Fulwell Entertainment and Main Street Advisors, where he is involved in business strategy, product development and capital formation.

Before joining RedBird, Robert spent ten years at J.P. Morgan, where he was Global Head of the Alternative Investments Group and President of J.P. Morgan Alternative Asset Management. Robert is a subcommittee member of President Trump’s Commission on Saving College Sports. His university affiliations include the Cornell University Council, the Cornell ILR Advisory Council, the University of Texas-McCombs Dean’s Advisory Council and its Business of Sports Institute. He also serves on the boards of organisations dedicated to combating global hate.
