Ric founded The Black Heart Foundation which supports initiatives that improve educational outcomes for young people and provides opportunities to those otherwise denied them. The Foundation offers various educational scholarships to youths in need in the UK and elsewhere. Ric is also an Advisory Board member of the 10,000 Black Interns programme and a Founding Trustee of the Black Equity Organisation.
Ric serves on many educational and community Boards, including the Belfer Center at Harvard University; Dartmouth College (USA); Eastside Young Leaders Academy; King Solomon Academy; the Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation; and the Institute of Imagination (London Children’s Museum).
