Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (part of Milton Hershey School) have hosted the groundbreaking event for the third of their Early Childhood Education Centers, this one in Middletown. MHS and CHS President Pete Gurt has said that the project will provide an opportunity to positively impact on the lives of the children and strengthen the local community.
Following the opening of the first Early Childhood Education Center, Milton Hershey School (MHS) and Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS) President, Pete Gurt, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those who are getting access to early education through the collaboration between MHS and CHS, local organizations, and the broader community.
"The ongoing legacy of Milton and Catherine Hershey is an extraordinary story ... I am honored to share how we have continued to accelerate the Hershey's generosity with the Elizabethtown College community," MHS President Pete Gurt said.
"This Summit showcased just how special the early childhood education community is—the turnout, passion and talent of everyone here was so evident," said Pete Gurt, President of CHS and Milton Hershey School (MHS).
The Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning facility in Hershey is the first of six planned facilities for early childhood education.
