Paul D. Gilbert is a Member of the Firm at Epstein Becker Green, based in the Nashville and Washington, DC offices, in the Health Care & Life Sciences and Corporate Services practices.
Mr. Gilbert represents a broad range of health care provider and private equity clients. Specifically, publicly traded, privately owned, governmental and private-equity-backed providers across an extensive range of healthcare suppliers. He also counsels health care boards of directors on corporate governance, fiduciary duty matters, strategic alternative considerations and compliance oversight.
Prior to joining Epstein Becker Green, Mr. Gilbert served in senior executive roles with a leading Fortune 500 health system for more than 13 years where he was responsible for the negotiation and operationalization of an innovative, equity joint venture between this publicly traded system and a leading academic medical center to jointly acquire, operate and implement a national quality program across a system of hospitals and their affiliated providers.
Previously, Mr. Gilbert was a partner and member of the board of directors of a Nashville-based law firm and in 2014, Mr. Gilbert was selected as a Nashville Health Care Council Fellow.
Mr. Gilbert was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© in Healthcare Law (2006), Mergers & Acquisitions Law (2007) and was included in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2004-2006).
