“The History Channel has had an enduring commitment to honoring our nation’s veterans and military families,” said Paul Buccieri, President and Chairman, A+E Networks Group.
“I have long admired Elton’s unparalleled dedication to equality and human dignity," Paul Buccieri said. "I am honored to join Elton, David, Anne [Foundation CEO Anne Aslett] and the entire board of the Elton John AIDS Foundation to help further their life-saving work."
The History Channel has ordered five new projects as part of an initiative to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. “Over the last four years, we have been on a journey to expand our production capabilities in both scripted and factual, and we’ve established key relationships in the talent management space," said Paul Buccieri.
Paul Buccieri discusses suffering a heart attack while on a run in the summer of 2019, and how this experience pushed him to launch the A+E Networks initiative 'Don’t Skip a Beat', in an effort to spread awareness of cardiovascular disease.
Paul Buccieri was honored at the event with the Corporate Excellence Award, in recognition as a leader in the industry who promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
