Matt Hermer's Issima has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as the best new scene for its creative menu and fun aesthetic.

Marissa and Matt Hermer’s Olivetta on Melrose was short on space to arrange outdoor dining, so she teamed up with her West Hollywood neighbors at LaPeer Hotel to offer Olivetta on Holiday, with dinner and cocktails served poolside and on the hotel’s rooftop. 

West Hollywood’s Olivetta is returning to life this week, but with a whole new look. Instead of staying in its standalone location, the restaurant is moving down the street to the La Peer Hotel, with plans to operate poolside for the rest of the summer, at least... The Marissa and Matt Hermer project will run 6 p.m. to midnight, Thursday through Saturday.

Marissa Hermer is lending a helping hand to some of the most vulnerable amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Ladies of London alumna and her husband Matt Hermer own two Los Angeles-based restaurants, The Draycott and Olivetta, and have created a program that allows their employees to keep working while helping out those in need. Aptly titled “You Give. We Cook. They Eat,” their GoFundMe is accepting donations to support their teams so that they can continue to cook and deliver meals to medical workers, first responders, the elderly and others.
