Kevin Ulrich is a prominent leader in global finance, private equity, and entertainment, known for his transformative leadership across industries. He currently serves as Chairman of J.Crew Group, Inc., where he has played a key role in revitalizing the iconic brand and driving sustainable growth.

In 2020, Ulrich was instrumental in steering J.Crew through one of the most complex retail restructurings of the COVID era. As Co-Founder and Chairman of Anchorage Capital Group, he led the firm’s investment in J.Crew, helping it emerge from bankruptcy and return to growth within months. Under his leadership, J.Crew has launched bold initiatives, including national partnerships with U.S. Ski & Snowboard and USA Swimming, to expand its reach and connect with a new generation.

Ulrich is widely recognized for orchestrating the $8.5 billion sale of MGM Studios to Amazon, one of the decade’s most notable entertainment deals. As Chairman of MGM Holdings, Inc., he led the studio’s strategic turnaround and value creation, culminating in its 2022 acquisition by Amazon.

Ulrich has also made an impact in film and the arts. He serves on the Board of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and has executive produced acclaimed films including Cyrano, House of Gucci, The Boys in the Boat, Challengers, and Dumb Money. He is also a producer of the upcoming Magenta Light Studios release, Bride Hard.

He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
