On Thursday December 10th, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights hosted its 52nd annual Ripple of Hope Award ceremony, recognizing five courageous humanitarians: Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the NIAID; Dolores Huerta, founder & president of the Dolores Huerta Foundation and co-founder of United Farm Workers of America; Colin Kaepernick, human rights activist, co-founder of Know Your Rights Camp, and Super Bowl quarterback; Dan Schulman, president & CEO of PayPal; and Dan Springer, CEO of DocuSign.
“The Munduruku people in Brazil are warriors ... and they have survived more than 500 years of oppression, of attempts to destroy their ancestral lands and attempts to abscond with their natural resources,” Kerry Kennedy, President of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, said.
Kerry Kennedy moderated a panel titled "Increased Vulnerability of Children on the Move" at the Fair Share for Children summit hosted by Laureates and Leaders for Children. The summit aimed to bring attention to the plight of vulnerable and exploited children as a result of COVID-19 and focused on government engagement and commitments to this issue.
