Jimmy Levin’s Biography

Jimmy Levin is an Executive Managing Director and Senior Advisor for Sculptor Capital Management, a leading global alternative asset management firm that specializes in opportunistic investing through its credit, real estate, and multi-strategy platforms.

Since the firm’s inception in 1994, Sculptor has pursued consistent outperformance by cultivating a business model that balances agility in acting on market opportunity with rigorous diligence that minimizes risk. As of September 30, 2024, Sculptor manages approximately $34 billion in assets*.

Jimmy joined Sculptor in 2006 and served as Chief Investment Officer from 2017 until 2026. In this role he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Sculptor’s investment portfolios, including capital allocation across various investment strategies and all major geographies. He also oversaw critical business strategy and operational decisions. Jimmy co-chairs Sculptor’s Portfolio Committee and chairs its Partner Management Committee, in addition to serving as a member of the firm’s private investment committees.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University.
