Jesus Mantas’ Biography

Jesus Mantas is Global Managing Partner of IBM Services, the professional services arm of IBM. IBM Services is built upon the ideas of reimagination and reinvention, guiding clients through disruptions in the business landscape by helping them design, build, and run businesses using advanced technology. After IBM’s acquisition of Red Hat in 2019, Jesus led collaborative efforts in developing new services and tools that help clients with rapid, secure application modernization.

Jesus has been with IBM since 2002 and previously held leadership roles in IBM Business Consulting and IBM Global Process Services divisions. Over the course of his more than 35 year career, he has become a global leader in AI and cloud technology and is often invited to speak at global conferences and in interviews with leading business and scientific programs and publications.

He served on the Global AI Council of the World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, sharing his expertise on emerging trends in AI technology. He was invited to be part of a Bloomberg panel titled “The Year Ahead: Redefining Corporate Responsibility” at Davos 2020 and was featured in an SHPE interview on the first ever Hispanic Delegation at the WEF.

In addition to his executive roles at IBM, Jesus chairs the IBM Hispanic Diversity Council and is a member of the IBM Services Executive Board, GBS Global Executive Board and IBM Chairman’s Acceleration Team. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Biogen, a world leader in neuroscience therapies, and has been honored on the list of Top 100 Hispanic Executives in Technology and Top 25 Global Consulting leaders by Consulting magazine.

Jesus has a master’s degree in Telecommunications and Software Engineering and a Business degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. He also served as an officer in the Spanish Air Force. READ MORE VIEW LESS
