Jeremy’s Biography

Jeremy is Managing Partner and CEO of Investcorp Credit Management (ICM), having joined in 2017 after the acquisition of 3i Debt Management. He is a member of Investcorp's Management and Investment Committees and serves as Chairman of ICM's Global and European Investment Committees.

Previously, Jeremy was Managing Partner and CEO of 3i Debt Management which in 2011 acquired Mizuho Investment Management from Mizuho Corporate Bank. At 3i, Jeremy was also a member of the Executive and Risk Committee of 3i Group PLC.

In 1988 Jeremy founded Mizuho’s Leveraged Finance business which was part of Mizuho Corporate Bank (formerly The Fuji Bank). In 2005 he also founded the third party independent fund management business and under his supervision, the bank was involved in financing over 500 buy-out transactions. Jeremy held overall responsibility for the LBO/MBO franchise, leveraged syndications, mezzanine finance and equity fund business in Europe, the U.S. and Asia (excluding Japan). Jeremy has more than 34 years’ experience in Banking, Asset Management and global investments. He holds a B.A. (Honours) degree in Business Administration and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Jeremy is proud to be Chairman of Future Hope, a charity, who over the last 36 years has touched more than 3,500 young lives and many thousands more families, by providing opportunities for the most vulnerable children from the slums and streets of Kolkata, India.
