Doug McMahon is Senior Managing Director at Tavistock Group, an international private investment organization, where he focuses on luxury real estate and consumer-facing businesses. Doug is also Senior Managing Director of one of Tavistock Group's largest portfolio investments – NEXUS Luxury Collection.
Through NEXUS, Doug was part of the original team that designed and built Albany in the Bahamas, considered one of the most successful luxury resort developments in the Caribbean. He was involved in the turnaround of the St. Regis Atlanta; co-created the award-winning ATLAS Buckhead restaurant in Atlanta; and is responsible for Isleworth Golf & Country Club and Isleworth Realty in Windermere. Currently with NEXUS, Doug opened their first urban club, NEXUS Club New York, where Tribeca meets the Financial District in Manhattan.
With over two decades of experience to the private investment group, Doug was Chairman and CEO of Publicis and Executive Vice President and General Manager of J. Walter Thompson New York. He was also Chief Marketing Officer at NBC/Universal's CNBC unit.
Previously, Doug was a Non-Executive Director of Mitchells & Butlers plc, the UK's largest pub and restaurant group, and Orlando Museum of Art. He is currently on the boards of US Assure, Buckhead Coalition, Palmer & Cay, Grace Medical Home and Lake Nona Impact Forum.
