Cédriane de Boucaud Truell is Senior Partner at Disruptive Capital Finance (DCF) which she co-founded in 2009. With assets of >£250m, DCF works with like-minded families across solvent Europe, finding off-market private opportunities. DCF achieved a record 38% IRR over its history, by backing superb management in buying & building innovative companies. DCF has a diversified portfolio, focusing on pensions, infrastructure, digital & innovative technology.
In her 25-year career as an investor/interim manager, Cédriane has transformed over 60 companies. Her early career with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers saw her work with large US and ex-Soviet bloc corporates. In Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan this included bank privatisation, energy/utility company restructuring & airlines.
Returning to Europe in 1999, Cédriane worked with a portfolio of early stage tech companies with US venture capital firm, then raised her first fund in 2006 (the Sustainable Technology Fund), now managed by DCF.
Cédriane was interim CEO for Tantalum Corporation (now Non-Exec Director), Ptarmigan and Director of the Truell Charitable Foundation. She holds an MA in Economics and a BA in Economics & Political Science, both from Cornell University.
An accomplished skier, Cédriane trained in slalom & giant slalom for the Junior Olympics in the USA and continues her passion with Alpine backcountry skiing. A keen traveller, she spends her spare time discovering countries by foot or cycle.
