Brett Mufson is an American Business Executive and Real Estate Developer, currently serving as President at Fontainebleau Development. Brett leads the conception, capitalization, delivery, and operation of large-scale luxury and hospitality destinations. With over two decades of experience, he brings a long-term owner’s perspective grounded in disciplined capital allocation, brand stewardship, and hands-on operational leadership.

Fontainebleau Development is a global leader in resorts, hospitality, country clubs, golf courses, high-end retail, gaming, entertainment, and luxury residential. Its holdings include Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Aviation, JW Marriott Turnberry Isle Resort, and Hilton Nashville.

As President & CIO, Brett guides the company’s growth strategy and expansion, playing a central role in new development, acquisitions, and financing across platforms totaling over $15 billion in enterprise value.

Prior to Fontainebleau, Brett was Head of Acquisitions & Capital Markets at Witkoff, where he led over $7 billion in development. He started his career at Bear Stearns in the Mortgage Structured Products group and later worked at LoanCore Capital in commercial real estate finance.

Brett serves on the boards of The Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center at the University of Pennsylvania, Pioneer Communities, and Gibson Avenue Capital, a real estate investment firm. He is also involved with organizations including the Whitney Museum and Mount Sinai Medical Center.
