Brett Mufson is an American Business Executive and Real Estate Developer, currently serving as President at Fontainebleau Development.

Known globally for its premier destinations, Fontainebleau Development is the distinguished leader in resorts and hospitality, country clubs, golf courses, high-end retail, gaming and entertainment and luxury residential. Among its many commercial holdings are Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Aviation, JW Marriott Turnberry Isle Resort, Hilton Nashville and more.

Brett has more than fifteen years of real estate acquisitions and development experience. As President & CIO, he guides the company’s growth strategy and worldwide expansion. Brett is also an integral part in the pursuit of new development opportunities and corporate acquisitions and financing across the firm’s business platforms, which total over $10 billion of enterprise value.

Prior to joining Fontainebleau, Brett was Head of Acquisitions & Capital Markets at Witkoff, a global real estate and investment firm. During his time at Witkoff, he led over $7 billion of development. Brett began his career at Bear Stearns in the Mortgage Structured Products group, where he assisted in the acquisition, origination, structuring and syndication of commercial mortgage-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations.

Brett is also a dedicated board member and supporter of various organizations, including the Whitney Museum, Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Private Equity Network (NYPEN). He serves as a board member of The Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the University of Pennsylvania, Pioneer Communities and real estate investment firm, Gibson Avenue Capital.
