Andrew joined the Stonehage Fleming Group as a Senior Advisor in 2013. He is Chairman of The Biotech Growth Trust plc which invests in publicly listed biotech companies, mostly in the US. He is chairman of the FPE Capital Investment Committee, a private equity fund investing in UK growth companies.
Andrew spent 21 years at Cinven, a leading private equity group operating in Europe and the US, as a Founder and Partner in which capacity he was chairman or director of a number of companies in the UK and Europe. Andrew’s career has been in private equity and he is a former chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and a director of its European equivalent, the EVCA.
Andrew’s other roles include serving as a Trustee of the charity New Entrepreneurs Foundation, as a Member of the Council of Fauna and Flora International (FFI) which is the longest established wildlife conservation charity in the world and, as a Fellow and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Winchester College. He is a graduate of New College, Oxford.
