Alidar Utemuratov is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist who serves as Founder and CEO of digital technology business, DAR, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

DAR encompasses a group of digital tech businesses that develop mobile applications and tools to improve resources for business operations, the economy and communities. The company is a tech incubator, and its platform features a variety of digital applications and solutions for media, fintech, education, and enterprise business solutions, and currently employs more than a hundred people.

DAR University is the latest product to be launched - a 4.0 online University offering courses to assist people of all ages and backgrounds with affordable upskilling and starting careers in their desired sectors. DAR is also rolling out a state-of-the-art creator platform 5Qbe, allowing content creators to promote and monetise their work as well as launching 5Qit, an all-in-one enterprise agility software allowing faster and easier cloud-based task management.

Having tasted entrepreneurial success with his first small business of selling satellite phones after graduating, Alidar went on to gather experience in the corporate world by taking on executive roles in telecoms, mining, energy and fintech. He embraced his entrepreneurial drive and set up Green Apple, an independent tech investment company. The original Green Apple company objectives formed the basis for the launch of DAR.

Alidar is also the founder of DAR Charity whose activities are dedicated to engaging young people in sports and martial arts via the DAR Team initiative; upskilling programmes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds; as well as helping vulnerable mothers with young children who don't have access to accommodation and healthcare - the “Mother´s home” initiative.

Finally, having been an MMA athlete himself, he has founded the NAIZA Fighter Championship, Kazakhstan´s world class MMA league. READ MORE VIEW LESS
